NEBLIO ROADMAP 2022-Q2 2023
We are excited to share the Neblio Roadmap for the Q3 2022 to Q2 2023 period!
We are looking forward to 2023 being the strongest year so far for the growth of Neblio. We have some exciting developments, partnerships with top-tier projects and programs for our community in the pipeline, focusing upon making Neblio a more decentralised and powerful blockchain platform with greater resources as well as increasing the utility of Neblio and the NEBL token.
We expect the releases and milestones to be released quarterly as scheduled next:
Q3 2022
Upgrade of the Electrum servers
Upgrade of the Electrum servers to the Protocol 1.5: this has added many benefits and increased scalability of the Electrum protocol, allowing, i.e., the pagination of addresses with large history and improved synchronisation.
BNB Chain Bridge Launch
A bridge of Neblio to the BNB Chain is in development and will be launched.
IPFS Public Server
Release of an IPFS Public Server for Developers.
Improvement Proposals
New proposals to the community will be submitted via DAO using the Neblio Improvement Proposals (NIPs), enhancing the use of the voting system.
Q4 2022
Empowering Decentralisation
With the introduction of an incentives scheme to increase the community adoption, we aim at making Neblio further decentralised by increasing the amount of nodes run by Neblio holders with a revamped reward system that will likewise let node operators choose whether they want staking fees or not.
Boost growth & Partnerships
The Neblio ecosystem will be boosted and expanded into new markets for a greater outreach, focusing on adoption through both developers and top-tier partners.
Ledger App
Development of a Ledger App with Electrum-based wallet integration.
EVM-Compatible Cross-Chain
Bridging Neblio tokens into the BNB Chain and to any other network whose bridge is already developed by then.
Q1 2023
Listings
Neblio will be listed on more global exchanges.
Bug Bounty Program
Community funds will be reinvested into the Neblio community members finding bugs.
Ecosystem Fund
Roll out an ecosystem fund focused on investing in emerging projects with a reward system to those developing successful DApps on Neblio, incl. NEBL wallets development.
New website
Release of a new website for Neblio.
Education
Release interactive educational programs for the Neblio community.
Q2 2023
Smart Contracts on Neblio
By releasing smart contracts on Neblio, the creation of natively supported and tradeable on-chain tokens will be enabled.
Moreover, we aim Neblio at being more user-oriented, where non-technical experts from finance and business will be able to create smart contracts.
Smart contracts will also allow further development on Neblio, including full EVM-Compatible Cross-Chain.
The Q3 2022 to Q2 2023 Neblio Roadmap shows our commitment and outreach to expand the Neblio scope by adding further compatibility of NEBL with other networks, increase the Neblio presence on more exchanges, incentivize the participation of the community in the proposals, strengthen the engagement through a manifold of programs, as well as an ambitious plan to start working on smart contracts development on Neblio which will start in Q2 2023. There may be other developments that are not included in this roadmap, i.e. those submitted via NIPs, and, as usual with roadmaps, everything is subject to change, be rearranged or expanded over time according to the prioritisation of tasks.
