Statement by Ding Yunsheng, founder of FACI and chairman of Xi’AI Medical Investment, about his investment in Nebula-AI
Ding Yunsheng is a Heart Surgeon, founder of FACI and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Xi’Ai Medical Investment Management. He published many books including “Restoration of critical illnesses” and “The Revolution in Serious Diseases”. He was awarded “China Insurance Person of the Year” in 2015 and 2016 by China Economic News.
Ding Yunsheng’s statement about his investment in Nebula AI:
“Because I missed the early waves of interest of the blockchain, I felt like I was missing out and I had to do something about it.
Therefor, I booked a trip to the United States and meet various entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and New York. I wanted to see, first-hand, the application of blockchain in the field of technology and finance.
However, due to language differences and professional barriers, my understanding of the blockchain was relatively superficial. But the trip was enough to make me embrace blockchain technology.
I met a former colleague of mine and CFO of Nebula-AI, Yanyan Li. She brought her Nebula AI team to China to meet with shareholders. I also had the opportunity to meet with the founder of Nebula-AI, Charles Cao, who was on a week-long business trip in Beijing. During this time, many took interest in the Blockchain AI project and wanted to invest.
Nebula AI is estimated to launch their first public chain in a few months, in September 2018. I can understand why when I saw Bitcoin and Ethereum market price fall drastically these past few days, while the NBAI rose 30% against the trend.
Xi’Ai Healthcare Investment will be investing in Nebula AI because their focus on AI and Blockchain technology can help the medical field greatly.
The idea of building a platform is capable of screening cancer, discovering illness, and managing medical diagnosis. With AI and Blockchain technology, their applications can benefit doctors and their staff, and provide reassurance to patients in real time. Combining the technology and medical field can surely bring China to a new technological era.”
