Nebulas giving a Keynote Speech at the 2018 European LLVM Developers’ Meeting
Nebulas is attending the 2018 European LLVM Developers’ Meeting on April 17, 2018, and our co-founder Robin Zhong will give a keynote speech titled ‘LLVM x Blockchain, A New Ecosystem of Decentralized Applications’ on the second day of the conference.
LLVM is a main component of the Nebulas Virtual Machine. We have proposed several open problems in blockchain that need to be addressed and that are potentially solvable with LLVM tools. We are also sharing our work on how to use LLVM to build a smart contract execution engine. As an LLVM Foundation sponsor, Nebulas hopes to bring more developers to the LLVM community, and we also call on the LLVM community to develop LLVM within blockchain.
The LLVM Project is a collection of modular and reusable compiler and toolchain technologies. It aims to provide a modern, SSA-based compilation strategy capable of supporting both static and dynamic compilation of arbitrary programming languages.
Nebulas is a next generation public blockchain, aiming for a continuously improving ecosystem. Based on its blockchain valuation mechanism, Nebulas proposes future-oriented incentive and consensus systems, and the ability to self-evolve without forking. Committed to technological innovation, Nebulas seeks to expand the boundaries of blockchain technology and ecosystems.
About the LLVM Developers’ Meeting
To advance the field of compilers and tools, the LLVM Foundation holds two LLVM Developers’ Meeting events, one in San Francisco Bay Area and one in Europe. These meetings serve as a forum for LLVM, Clang, LLDB and other LLVM project developers and users to get acquainted with and learn about LLVM, and exchange ideas about LLVM and its (potential) applications. This conference in Bristol, UK, will be be held over the course of two days and feature technical talks, hackers labs, tutorials, among other events.
Meeting Date and Location:
Apr 16~17, 2018
Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre, Bristol, UK
Robin’s speech schedule:
