Nebulas Unveils New Website Before our Testnet Launch
Recently Nebulas launched our new website and our new logo, completing another milestone leading up to our Testnet launch.
Nebulas is a decentralized platform which provides a search framework for all blockchains. It helps users identify and utilize information of value among the ever-increasing amount of data on the blockchain more efficiently. Every user can use Nebulas to search for blockchain information and every developer can develop search apps with Nebulas decentralised search framework. With the testnet coming online soon, it now already supports JavaScript programming and calling a smart contract, which means more interested Nebulas users can participate in the development of Nebulas. After the launch of of Nebulas mainnet and wallet, Nebulas will be able to provide more powerful tools for blockchain infrastructure development. What Nebulas will offer is a lot more than its innovative decentralised search engine, it will bring to the blockchain world a most forward-looking blockchain framework.
Accordingly, in its efforts to go global, the Nebulas community will grow to be a more diverse, open and liberal one. Just as the vision of Nebulas indicates, Nebulas will “explore the new world, embrace the future and enjoy the changes” together with its community members.
To go with its vision Nebulas has adopted a full set of colors for a more bright, approachable and lively look.
The new logo can have many meanings. For example, a multi-dimensional coordinate system that stands for new value of the blockchain world; a star that stands for the profoundness of the universe; a spinning top that stands for the possibilities of multi-dimensional time and space; an origami shuriken that stands for speed and impact.
From human technological civilization to the vast universe, Nebulas brings unlimited imagination and possibilities to the blockchain world. We firmly believe that blockchain is more than a technology, it’s more of a being with life. It redefines how people collaborate, involving us all in this great unstoppable wave of technology.
Another Milestone in the Building of a Global Community
With continuous efforts, we are happy to see that Nebulas has achieved so much in the building of its global community that embraces both industry players and academics.
Nebulas took its roadshow from Silicon Valley, New York all the way to Singapore. The Nebulas meetups in UC Berkeley, Columbia University were very well-received and its white paper was spoken highly of by Professor Alessandro Chiesa, doctor in computer science at UC Berkeley.
Apart from top universities, Nebulas team also visited famous enterprises including Google, Airbnb and had lively discussions with engineers of internet search engine giant Google about blockchain search engine technology. It also had meetings with top law firms, investment firms and consulting firms, with cooperation intentions with multiple partners.
A Globalised Team Taking Shape
As blockchain is inherently a borderless technology, having a globalised team and community is of utter importance to any blockchain project.
Currently Nebulas’ team members are located across the world in Silicon Valley, New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Singapore. A globalised team is taking shape.
Nebulas also has a strategic advisor team composed of top investors from Silicon Valley. Chris McCann started and leads the community program at Greylock Partners, early investor in Facebook. Edith Yeung is a partner at 500 Startups and head of 500 Startups Greater China. 500 Startups is an early VC investor of Silicon Valley and a strategic partner of Nebulas.
