Last week’s dynamic summary

The first ever list of Super Contributors was announced last week, during Week 6 of the Nebulas Incentive program, and so was the initial list of dapps nominated for Weekly Developer Rewards. The 20 Super Contributors and three Nebulas representatives formed a 23-person judging panel to select the best Nebulas Incentive Program dapps of last week. The voting period is now ongoing. It began on last Thursday on June 21 and will last until midnight on Tuesday, June 26.

Meanwhile, the sixth week of the Nebulas Incentive Program ended at midnight (Beijing Time) on June 24th, block height 451,701. We received 646 decentralized app (dapp) submissions during this period, of which 92 passed review to win NAS rewards. Using our ranking algorithm, the Nebulas tech team evaluated the best dapps submitted, culminating in the initial list of the 23 best dapps submitted last week. The Weekly Developer Reward winners will be selected from among these 23 dapp candidates.

Nebulas ranked 6th in Global Public Blockchain Evaluation by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT)

On June 20th, Beijing time, the CCID Institute of Blockchain Research Institute under the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published the results of their second Global Public Blockchain Evaluation. According to the list, Nebulas ranks 6th in the world in terms of public blockchains, with a 105.3 score, and the Nebulas dapp ecosystem ranks 5th in the world.

Aero Wang, co-founder and COO of Nebulas, interviewed by OKEx

Well-known blockchain exchange OKEx published a video interview with Aero Wang, co-founder and COO of Nebulas. In the interview, Aero expressed his views on how a public blockchain ought to go-to-market, explaining his position from an economic point of view. He described the importance of designing the token economy, in particular the token circulation and consumption mechanisms.

Cell Evolution, the first Monthly Champion of NIP, reaises $5M RMB

On June 22, Cell Evolution, a blockchain-based game and the first Monthly Champion of the Nebulas Incentive Program, has raised a 5 million RMB ($750,000 USD) round led by the Nebulas Foundation. Joining the investment were the gaming platform Cocos Blockchain Expedition and Byte Capital, with DappReview serving as a financial advisor during the funding round. Cell Evolution’s funding round values it 30 million RMB ($4.5 million USD).

This reflects the quality of this game and the potential of the blockchain space, and in particular blockchain gaming. Moreover, it demonstrates the importance of developer-friendly blockchain ecosystems and their role in incubating quality blockchain dapps like Cell Evolution. Several financial firms and media outlets, including Netease Technology, Golden Finance, and Planet Daily reported on the news.

Nebulas founder Hitters Xu participates in Beijing’s 13th Global Blockchain Certification Training Seminar

On June 24th, Beijing time, the 13th Global Blockchain Certification Training Seminar, organized by China Blockchain Application Research Center & Internet Finance Museum and contracted by Jinke Business, was held in the Beijing International Finance Museum. The organizer carried out a seminar session “On Blockchain,” and Nebulas founder Hitters Xu was invited to speak on the theme of “Thinking in Blockchain.”

Nebulas participates in the Silicon Valley Blockchain Week hackathon

Nebulas sponsored the inaugural hackathon at Silicon Valley Blockchain Week. The hackathon happened on June 22 in Silicon Valley, USA. Nebulas co-founder and CTO Robin Zhong will speak at the conference, and also act as a judge during the hackathon. Hackathon participants developing on the Nebulas chain not only have the opportunity to win hackathon prizes, but also NAS rewards through the the Nebulas Incentive Program. The event will end on June 24, local time.

LAST WEEK’S Top Commits

Mainnet Development Progress

Go-nebulas 1.0.5 released this week on Mainnet. Added encryption library and uint library , can be more convenient for developers using encryption function and defines the uint of different types, opening up access to specify the height of the block, hash and query the account balance ability and intelligent contract lib upgrade scheme was optimized, adding when transfer failure automatically records the event convenient to understand the cause of the failure. At the same time, we integrate the inner transaction code branch, modify our unit test code, and the v1.1.0 inner transaction feature is scheduled to be available shortly.

Incentive Program

At the end of the sixth week of the incentive plan, we have received over 4000 application submissions and over 800 winning applications in the five weeks. At present, the fifth week of audit work is nearing the end, and the results will be announced early next week. A vote on the incentive plan begins this week, and the community is expected to vote for a widely loved application.


Last week, we released the nebula incentive scheme of super contributors, a week from the official invitation code invited to the new registered users of the top 20 promoter can become nebula incentive plan of super contributors, super contributors can vote to participate in the weekly monthly dapp awards and recognition. The rankings of the top contributors will be updated in real time this week.

Multi-language SDK

In order to meet the needs of developers on different platforms, our JS/Java/PHP/Python/Android/iOS and other versions of the SDK are officially released, welcome to use and make valuable suggestions. The go and ruby versions of the SDK were added this week, while bugs in some of the SDK were fixed.


In order to make developers to communicate more effectively, we are applying to create the Nebulas site on StackExchange. At present, it is at the stage of collecting commitments. Welcome to join!
