Go Nebulas Released
In a effort to remake Nebulas into a community operated project, we recently launched Go Nebulas! Go Nebulas will be used as a community collaboration platform where community members can create new projects they feel are of value as well as contributing to existing projects.
In the future, Go Nebulas will utilize a unique voting token (NAT) where community members will cast their vote and be heard via a on-chain governance system.

Hitters Xu attended the “POW’ER China Blockchain Contributors Annual Summit”
On March 28th, Mars Finance, Consensus Lab and VBLOCK hosted the “POW’ER China Blockchain Contributors Annual Summit” in Chongqing, China. In attendance were 1000 industry guests and 150 blockchain technology companies.
At the summit, Hitters Xu said: “The blockchain industry needs to be fun, useful, and effective. Blockchain practitioners must maintain an open, cooperative, compatible, and inclusive philosophy; them must also take feedback from the front line.” Recently, Nebulas officially launched the community collaboration platform ‘Go Nebulas’ which gives full supervision of active Nebulas projects to the community. In the month of April, Nebulas will be launching Nebulas NOVA as well as a new consensus mechanism in just two months time.
At the conference, Nebulas was honored with the prestigious award of “2018 Most Influential Public Chain.”

Hitters Xu had the opportunity to share the Nebulas vision via a interview in China. During the interview, Hitters said: “Blockchain projects should focus on how to get users to use their own tokens and participate in ecosystem construction….”
Nebulas co-founder Aero Wang hosted a AMA with the Chinese community
A few days ago, the Chinese community had the opportunity to ask their questions live to Aero Wang. During the AMA, many excellent questions from the community were asked!
One of the highlights from the AMA was Aero’s statement about the events of 2017 and 2018:
“The focus of the blockchain industry in 2017 was “capital” & in 2018, the attempt to put DApps into practical use failed. This has shown the need for a better capital management mechanism in the blockchain industry.
In 2018, blockchain enthusiasts tried to identify it as a “application”; clearly this attempt also failed to produce meaningful results. The keyword for blockchain in 2019 is still not “application” but rather “organization.”
“Organization” is not only applicable to a single project but to the capital management of the entire #blockchain industry. The ICO fever in 2017 was a pure capital game without fundamental support resulting in a negative phenomenon that bad tokens supplanted good tokens.
A better ICO model should focus on the governance after the project is funded. The on-chain and off-chain governance mechanism of #Nebulas can not only provide a better mechanism for capital issuance but also a better mechanism for capital management.
The DAO vision failed on Ethereum but that will not happen on Nebulas since we have mature technology to make it a reality!”

Testnet rollback announcement
Due to updates with the Nebulas Blockchain Runtime Environment (NBRE), the Nebulas team has decided to rollback the tesetnet to block height 1,540,000 which will occur between 7pm — 12pm, Beijing Time (GMT+8) on April 2nd, 2019.
