The Proposal Creator Incentive Program Begins Next Week!
The Nebulas Proposal Creators Incentive Program will begin next week with a maximum reward of 50,000 NAX for outstanding proposals!
After a week of community comments, the draft version of this program was mostly accepted as-is by community members, governance committee and technical committee members. Since no new constructive opinions emerged, the Committee has decided to launch the Proposal Creators Incentive Program during the next PoD governance cycle (approximately July 28, 2020).
Participation
All active projects and proposals available on Go.nebulas.io.
Reward
This program includes two reward cycles: the proposal approval award and the semi-annual review. Starting with the next governance cycle, proposals that have been approved by the PoD governance cycle will have the opportunity to receive 5,000 NAX awards. Excellent proposals and projects that emerge every six months will receive up to 50,000 NAX awards.
Start Time
The first proposal is expected to be selected after the next PoD governance cycle is completed by the end of August, 2020.
The first Excellent Proposal/Project Selection process will be held after the end of the 6th mainnet Governance Cycle which is expected to take place in October, 2020. The 39 projects and some excellent proposals that have been approved during the first four mainnet governance cycles will also have the opportunity to participate in the first semi-annual evaluation.
Selection Method
The adoption of proposals for each governance cycle shall be decided by the Governance Committee via on-chain voting. The quality assessment of proposals will be provided by the Nebulas Technical Committee for the Governance Committee to use as a reference. The selection of proposals will refer to various factors, such as quality scores, whether the PoD governance committee approved the proposal, and community based publicity. The awards for this project will be provided by the Nebulas Foundation. The Nebulas Foundation has the right to interpret the event and reserves the right to decide to cancel or modify the rules of the event at any time.
