本來，瑞典威士忌，在台灣由麥格瑞獨佔代表位置，但自從有業者引進文島釀酒廠的威士忌後，麥格瑞跟文島兩個瑞典釀酒廠的旗艦威士忌，高下如何，令人非常好奇：
相信在酒展嘗過麥格瑞威士忌的威士忌迷，必然對麥格瑞旗艦產品麥格瑞Svensk EK瑞典橡木單一純麥威士忌印象深刻，這個酒廠習慣將在最後陳釀階段，把原酒從大橡木桶移到較小的橡木桶陳釀，風味集中的效果卓越。
麥格瑞Svensk EK瑞典橡木單一純麥威士忌
MACKMYRA SVENSK EK SWEDISH SINGLE MALT WHISKY聞香：明顯的柑橘味，橡木味很淡，強烈的甜香略帶一點點清淡的蜂蜜香。
Nose: Clearly citrusy, lightly oaky, intensely sweet with a slight hint of honey.
品嚐：入口有種薑茶的感覺，香蕉蛋糕風格的甜味帶著生薑的明亮辛辣。
Taste: The taste of ginger tea, the sweetness of banana cake style with the bright spicy taste of ginger.
餘韻：餘韻有黑巧克力淡苦香味，熱力十足可惜餘韻很短、消失得很快。
Aftertaste: The finish is a bit of dark chocolate with a light bitter aroma and full of heat, but the Aftertaste is very short and disappears quickly.
文島 第谷之星 單一麥芽威士忌 Hven Tycho’s Star SINGLE MALT WHISKY
純就故事性而言，文島第谷之星威士忌遠勝麥格瑞Svensk EK威士忌，單這瓶酒名稱就有兩個故事：
文島，是介於瑞典與丹麥間的島嶼，十六世紀歸屬於丹麥王國，如今是瑞典領土。
第谷之星，則是為了紀念當地名人第谷·布拉赫，此人身兼丹麥貴族、天文學家、占星學家、煉金術士，影響天文學最大事蹟是在1572年仙后座上觀測到一顆超新星。他稱其為 “De Nova Stella”，堪稱超新星之父。
The name Tycho’s Star refers to the supernova that Tycho Brahe observed in the asterism Cassiopeia 1572. He called it “De Nova Stella” and made a term of the expression Nova, that nowadays are used to describe new stars.
1583年第谷出版《論彗星》，提出介於地心說與日心說之間的理論，認為地球為靜止中心，太陽圍繞地球作圓周運動，而除地球外的其他行星圍繞太陽作圓周運動。
第谷的大弟子克卜勒，名氣更勝於老師，克卜勒天文望遠鏡影響後世天文學至鉅，可惜多次勸老師第谷接受「日心說」都沒成功。
第谷之星威士忌由三種大麥釀製，淡啤酒麥芽產生青草味，巧克力麥芽產生焦糖味，厚重的泥炭威士忌麥芽產生皮革、甘草和焦油味。
酒熟化於三種橡木桶：58.2%密蘇里州的重度碳化橡木桶，33.44%的阿利埃州橡木桶，8.36%的勃根地橡木桶。
Tycho´s Star is made from a mash bill based on three types of barley, Pale Ale Malt for the grassy base notes, chocolate malt for the enticing caramel notes and heavy peated whisky malt to create the leather, liqourice and tar scents.
The carefully distilled spirit has matured on casks made of air dried oak. The casks are 58,20% heavy char Quercus Muehlenbergii from Missouri, 33,44% heavy toast Quercus Petraea from Allier and 8,36% medium toast Q. Robur from Bourgogne.
聞香：明顯的泥碳味，橡木味很淡，焦糖味帶著奶油香。
Nose:
Clearly peaty, very light oak, caramel with a creamy note.
品嚐：用舌頭來回品嚐酒液像咀嚼煙薰蜜汁火腿，所有甜味都帶著煙燻感。
Taste:
Tasting the whisky back and forth with the tongue is like chewing on a smoked honeyed ham, with all the sweetness and smokiness.
餘韻：
餘韻是帶著甜香的烤肉醬，煙燻味貼著上顎，餘韻中等長度。
Aftertaste: The finish is like a sweet barbecue sauce, with a smoky flavor that clings to the palate and a medium-long finish.
結論：
Conclusion :
兩者相比，麥格瑞Svensk EK威士忌在聞香與入口滑順度都稍勝文島第谷之星威士忌一籌；
Compared to the two, MACKMYRA SVENSK EK SWEDISH SINGLE MALT WHISKY has a slightly better nose and smoothness on the palate than the Hven Tycho’s Star SINGLE MALT WHISKY.
不過，文島第谷之星威士忌以較長的餘韻扳回一城；
However, Hven Tycho’s Star SINGLE MALT WHISKY came back with a longer finish.
文島第谷之星威士忌的泥煤跟酒體融合未臻完美，味覺層次野心很高，但執行度有點落差。
The peat and the body of Hven Tycho’s Star SINGLE MALT WHISKY are not perfectly integrated, and the ambition of the taste level is very high, but the execution is a bit lacking.
麥格瑞Svensk EK威士忌顯然是比較成熟的旗艦威士忌。
MACKMYRA SVENSK EK is a more mature flagship whisky in this game.
