舊金山巨人隊 聯名 橙味 啤酒 與 MLB 球場啤酒排行榜 Anchor San Francisco Giants Orange Splash beer for Taiwanese baseball fans
San Francisco Giants Orange Splash beer by Anchor Brewing Co. showed up in Taiwanese convenience store.
It tasted more fruity than Anchor Summer Wheat beer. The beer is good but San Francisco Giants didn’t have any home court advantage in Taiwan. Fans of NBA Golden State Warriors might be more than fans of San Francisco Giants here.
But you couldn’t say that Golden State Warriors beer was a better choice for Anchor Brewing Co. to sell in Taiwan. The connection between sports fans and beer is still a marketing myth in Asia.
My Japanese friends & I loved Ichiro Suzuki so much as we lovedn his Ads for Kirin Beer. But the love for Ichiro did not stop us to drink beers by other brewing companies.
And the market scale of beer in Taiwan is much smaller than US.
Sure, you could try to grab the heat of Lin Tzu Wei Tzunami of Boston Red Sox and import some beer related to Red Sox this Summer. But, if Red Sox traded Lin Tzu Wei before the date July 31th 2017 ,it would be an huge impact on your products.
Their rankings determine the overall status of beer available in each MLB stadium by considering three factors. Quality is determined by the number of beers ranked “very good” or better, according to BeerAdvocate.com. Locality is how many breweries represented are based in the same state as the team. Uniqueness is the number of breweries available only at one MLB stadium. Each of these rankings is given equal weight.
In the End the beer in Seattle Mariners Safeco field ranked No.1 and the beer in New York Yankees ranked 30th.
It seems that their ranking system could work in Taiwan. It would be great that we could taste some fruity beer in Kaohsiung stadium which brewed with fruits around Kaohsiung.
