It started a long time ago. Meet Linas, NEEMATIC co-founder.
Linas co-founded the company NEEMATIC together with Domas in 2015. But he was not new in the electric bike world as he had been building custom electric bikes for European riders for years. Linas has developed unique frames and built complete drive trains, using mostly hub motors to power them.

Below you will find the highlights of Linas’ early projects — learning, experimenting and discovery.
1. Electric enduro motorcycle with a forklift motor.
The day I got an enduro motorcycle… I didn’t like the sound, the smell. I threw the engine away and got myself an electric motor from a forklift. The ride lasted for just 50 meters of burnout at full throttle, right until the nearest fence… but it was enough to get me started.
2. Custom bike projects begin
The first custom design bike rode out of my garage after 1 week of intensive work during both day and night.
3. Commuter ebike
I liked going to work on a bike, but I needed something faster with the same look. This one is a hardtail, it goes up to 50km/h and has 2.5 kw of peak power, the battery is built with A123 26650 cells integrated into the frame. There was enough juice for 15 km on that power - enough for a round-trip to work and back.
4. “4Motus” brand is born.
Together with a friend we started a new company called 4Motus. It was launched to build custom e-bikes and frames for electric power enthusiasts.
5. A commuter-monster for a friend
The bike itself is huge — it carries a battery worth more than 5 kwh for those long trips.
6. …And something little different, yes, a mid-drive.
Enough of the flat roads, lets go to off-road. And this is where the Neematic journey begun…
