NEET 2020: Aspirants From This State Can Now Apply Offline

With the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate (NEET) aspirants in Kashmir facing problems in applying for test online, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the aspirants from Kashmir can now apply offline for the test.
“Many requests have been received from the candidates of Kashmir Valley regarding difficulty they are facing while filling in the online application form for NEET (UG)-2020. In view of the above, it is hereby notified that, in addition to the existing online application facility, the candidates in the Kashmir Valley can also submit the application form offline…” a statement by the NTA read.
NTA in its public notice stated that “Many requests have been received from the candidates of Kashmir valley regarding difficulty they are facing while filling in the online application form for NEET-UG 2020,” in view of which the statement added, “in addition to the existing online application facility, the candidate(s) in the Kashmir valley can also submit the application form offline.”
The offline form can be downloaded from the official website or one can also collect the same from the nodal centre, which is Delhi Public School, Athwaja, Srinagar.
NTA also stated that other centres are also being opened for collection and submission of hard copy of the forms which will be notified by the agency shortly.
NTA clarified that the offline form facility has been extended only to candidates from Kashmir valley and rest of the candidates from other regions will register only through online mode.
The last date for filling up of the form with fee payment is January 1, 2020. The exam is scheduled for May 3, 2020.
