Intro

Neftify is creating a decentralized autonomous organization that seeks cooperative modes of production to pioneer alternative earning opportunities in the metaverse.

As a starting point, Neftify operates as a hybrid between a guild and a platform that facilitates the sharing of game assets between lenders and players. Since its September 2021 launch, the platform has grown to a 239 member strong guild without owning any game inventory.

How Neftify Guild members share game assets to power the organization

To scale the community, admins employed a suite of internal tools to use to coordinate operations. These tools consist of a lender portal, a player portal, and an admin portal for community members to log into and self-serve.

Seeing the value that the tools provide, community admins quickly discovered that they might be helpful for other guilds and proposed to offer Neftify’s tools for anyone to use. The proposal passed and Neftify’s development team began work on SaFu — tooling for guilds.

The first component of SaFu is Metamarkets, an online marketplace where guilds can search for players, and players can search for guilds. This piece is expected to launch by mid-January. The long-term goal for Metamarkets is to provide guilds and players with an alternative source of revenue from trades and free-agent acquisitions; just as professional sports clubs do with athletes.

Performance Update

For December 2021, Neftify’s development team focused on building lender “growth hacks” to implement for January 2022, as well as building Metamarkets. The total productive output of Neftify’s Axie Infinity markets thus far has resulted in over 1,400,000 SLP being generated.

Neftify has 204 players spread out across three time zones; the Philippines, Venezuela, and Ecuador. The community’s plan to expand into other Latin America and Southeast Asia regions is still in play. There are 612 Axies in the Axie Infinity markets pool with a combined TVL of over 124,000 USD.

Treasury Update

The SLP generated during this period will be fully disbursed to players affected by Typhoon Rai (Odette). Additional funds will be raised by the community to help the dozens of players that who lost their residence.

What is happening with SaFu?

The development team has decided to shift their focus to launching Metamarkets for January. The reasoning being that once a critical mass of guilds is onboarded to Metamarkets, SaFu can be ‘turned on’ as a feature for them to use for free in their Metamarkets profile.
