Who are you?

A passionate technologist (I read that on somebody's CV) with almost 2 decades experience in the industry. Not long moved back to Durham after 20 years living in Edinburgh.

What do you do?

I’m a DevOps Engineer “automating all the things” in the cloud and on premises at an agritech startup.

Where do you do it?

I’m currently working remotely at Xihelm. In the past I’ve worked (remotely as a CTO) at FlexMR, Yakara, LendingCrowd, MasterCard, The Roslin Institute and GE.

What do you like?

DevOps and Software Development (lately in Ruby), with a keen interest in Container technologies, Cloud (AWS, GCP), Netsec, Cryptocurrencies.

Less geeky; Motorbikes and Archery (although not often together). As a (retired) DJ, I also retain a passion for electronic music.
