BlockGrain are now accepting XEM in their public sale after a successful pre- sale of more than $3.5 million from more than 1000 individuals. There is no discount between the private and public sale, ensuring that all participants are treated equally.

Taking XEM into their public sale is an opportunity to get support from the NEM community for the BlockGrain project. With a large presence in Asia, NEM does tick many of the boxes required for adoption by the BlockGrain community.

CEO Caile Ditterich

“We have always been big supporters of the technology that drives the NEM platform. With the release of their Catapult platform, our team now have to place serious consideration around using NEM as our core private chain going forward.”

Blockgrain took part in the NEM community fund earlier in the year where they raised AUD $1 million. They were the first major Australian blockchain project to take advantage of NEM’s community fund, receiving overwhelming support from the community in Australia and overseas.

As they enter a new phase of growth they have opted to launch a public token sale to raise capital instead of using the NEM community fund. They are however continuing to evaluate and explore various technologies including the NEM blockchain for product development.

BlockGrain, who started their beginnings at the Blockchain Centre, is an Australian agriculture and blockchain technology startup that is giving everyday people the opportunity to get a slice of a new software solution that is set to revolutionise the global food supply chain. BlockGrain has been in business for 3 years, with working platforms across grains, fruits and vegetables.
