Historic NEM 101 in Canberra!
On the 21st May 2018, NEM’s Jian Chan and Thanh Le made the trip from Melbourne and Sydney to engage in the FIRST EVER NEM 101 talk in Canberra!
Planned and organised by our friends at Capital Blockchain, the NEM Australia team were invited to the Australian National University to give a much-anticipated talk about blockchain and the advanced technology surrounding NEM.
In a mixed crowd of students, developers, start-ups and government linked advisers (approximately 35- 45 people), Thanh Le gave a presentation on blockchain technology past and present. After an invigorating dialogue on the role NEM plays in the ecosystem (and its future implications), the crowd moved on to the NEM sponsored after-party at the bar where further discussions ensued toward the night!
A very special thank you to Paulius Gutauskas from Capital Blockchain for organizing such a successful evening. We hope to be back in Canberra again very soon!!!
