Jason Lee named in Forbes ’30 Under 30’ Asia list

NEM Foundation’s Jason Lee has made it to the third annual Forbes ’30 Under 30’ Asia list. This prestigious list recognises young disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs reshaping industries today across the Asia-Pacific region.

Jason Lee is the Expansion Director in Australia and New Zealand for the NEM.io Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the benefits and use of the NEM blockchain platform. His main focus is driving partnerships with startups, academia, industry bodies and governments, and educate them on how blockchain technology can challenge existing business models and solve real world problems.

“I’m honoured to be recognised in this prestigious list, alongside so many inspirational and game-changing people across Asia-Pacific region.

“I’m extremely passionate about the value that blockchain can bring to businesses, whether they are a startup or a large corporate, and regardless of the industry they play in. Through my role at the NEM.io Foundation, I look forward to further championing the growth of the blockchain ecosystem in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the world.”

His previous work includes co-founding two fintech startups and being a speaker, mentor, judge and investor in startups. He is also a Board Member and Strategic Advisor to the Blockchain Centre, the world’s first and largest blockchain knowledge hub and co-working space, and a founding member of the FinTech Association of Malaysia.
