Meet Natasha Dellaca | NEM New Zealand Country Leader

The NEM.io Foundation are pleased to introduce Natasha Dellaca as the new Country Leader for NEM New Zealand. She will be taking over from Dalaney Davis who was the previous Lead for New Zealand. Dalaney has now moved on with a new role at Choice, a NEM project based in Wellington, New Zealand and we wish him all the best!

Natasha is looking forward to taking on the role with us and in particular, is very interested in helping to promote NEM’s platform to kiwi’s looking to solve meaningful challenges with distributed ledger technology. Natasha is a co-founder of the EPIC Westport Innovation Centre, the home of NEM’s Blockchain Hub in Westport, New Zealand which she helped launch last year.

Besides designing and delivering the now successful EPIC business, Natasha also teaches start up courses and is a facilitator of the Co.Starters business program. Natasha will retain a part time role with EPIC Westport as a strategy and communications consultant focused on all things Blockchain.

Before taking on her current roles in the startup/ ICT sector, Natasha worked for non-governmental and government agencies in funding and policy advisory roles. She was a two term Board Member of the Public Advisory Committee for Disarmament and Arms Control, providing ministerial advice and funding to community groups. Natasha has a Masters in International Relations and was a civil society member of New Zealand government delegation to the United Nations. She remains a New Zealand representative to Council for Security Cooperation in Asia Pacific. She has been a guest lecturer and tutor at the University of Canterbury and is an adviser to the West Coast Polytech, Tai Poutini Polytechnic.
