NEM partners with Blockchain-Research-Accelerator

The NEM.io Foundation actively supported the first BRA-Day in Berlin organized by Untitled INC

The NEM.io Foundation recently announced a partnership with Untitled Inc. and the Blockchain-Research-Accelerator. Untitled INC is a distributed economy think tank with experienced professionals engaging in multiple interesting blockchain projects at the moment. One of the most promising initiatives is the Blockchain-Research-Accelerator, a non for profit organization that brings together Researchers, Industry Experts and Blockchain Experts.

Through this partnership, selected BRA students will receive input and advice on their research from NEM Foundation. Julian Richter, Head of Partnerships of NEM.io Foundation Europe explained why NEM Foundation is supporting the Blockchain-Research-Accelerator: “It is an impactful initiative and absolutely neccessary to combine the knowledge of Researchers, leaders from various industries and Blockchain experts to advance the common Blockchain knowledge and enhance the ecosystem. I am personally happy that the NEM.io Foundation and its Interim President Kristof Van de Reck are strong supporters of Blockchain education and enabling this partnership to support the researchers with our Blockchain knowledge.“

On July 13th, the first selected batch — 30+ exceptional fellows out of more than 130 applicants — came together for the first workshop day in Berlin. The program included a nice mix of panel discussions, group work, networking and presentations from Researchers and Experts from DB Digital, Luvent-Consulting and Untitled INC. Istvan Deak, Solutions Architect of NEM.io Foundation, presented NEM including the existing „Smart Execution Tools“ and showed how easy it is to develop and deploy a solution on the NEM Blockchain. In the end all participants received a certificate for participation which was notarized with NEM Apostille — the robust notarization service built on top of NEM’s blockchain which is available in the Nanowallet.
