It was exactly one month ago when we embarked on a remarkable journey, setting forth into the world of neo-cybernetics.

Today, I’d like to take the opportunity to reflect on our progress, our mission, and our shared passion for understanding the complexities of the world around us.

Who We Are

Neo-Cybernetics is an embodiment of the third wave of cybernetics, evolving past traditional paradigms of first and second order cybernetics, to present a modern, integrated framework that addresses the complexities of today’s world.

By pursuing advanced interdisciplinary knowledge, we focus on non-linear behaviors, emergent properties, causal loops, and the symbiosis between humans, machines and the environments we are immersed in.

Central to our work is the study of complex adaptive systems, ethical considerations, human-centered design, ecological awareness, and the study of possible futures.

The community that is forming around neo-cybernetics is made of a small dedicated group of independent researchers and thinkers passionate to explore topics as vast and diverse as the nature of life, synthetic intelligence, complex systems, networks, and more.

Our lens is not only focused on systems as wholes, but dives deep into understanding individual components, network nodes, their connections and causal loops, and the ecosystems they all form a part of.

This depth offers us insights into resource exchanges, dependencies, and feedback loops, bridging the abstract, the natural and the synthetic worlds.
