As we mark the second month of our Neo-Cybernetics publication, let’s reflect on the growth, breakthroughs, and vibrant collaborations that are starting to shape our journey. In this second month, we’ve seen our community expand, our content diversify, and our collective identity strengthen.
The Neo-Cybernetics Federation
Due to the Federation initiative, a few people are beginning to refer to our community as the ‘Neo-Cybernetics Federation’. This term suits our group since it reflects the structure we’re fostering — a network of organizations, independent researchers, thinkers, and practitioners united by a common goal to explore and address the complex challenges and big questions of our times.
This showcases how the collective identity of Neo-Cybernetics is maturing over time.
From today, we will be featuring Federation members, friends, and partners on this dedicated page.

The Federation is meant to be a dynamic, evolving entity intended to function through collaboration, shared knowledge, and active engagement. The vision for the Federation is to create a platform that transcends traditional boundaries, offering a space where ideas, research, and insights can freely intersect and flourish.
By bringing together thought leaders, researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts in the field of cybernetics, systems thinking, ecology, design and more, we aim to foster a rich environment for dialogue, innovation, and impactful solutions.

Milestones & Events
Launch of Generative AI Agent Atlas
This marks an important milestone as Atlas stands at the forefront of integrating AI with neo-cybernetics knowledge. Atlas is a generative AI agent designed to explore the world of Neo-Cybernetics, offering insights around our community and the discipline of cybernetics. Atlas is one of our first collective projects, that will be improved based on suggestion and feedback from the Neo-Cybernetics community.
Collaboration with Philosophie.de and Zoomposium
We’re thrilled to announce that our friends at Philo Sophies and the Zoomposium YouTube channel have begun sharing their insightful content with our community. Their contributions enrich our platform with diverse perspectives on philosophy, technology, and the future of humanity.
Philosophie.de’s AI Series
Still from the Philosophie.de blog, we bring you a thought-provoking series titled “Artificial Intelligence: The System Needs New Structures.” The essay is broken down into four parts which delve deep into various aspects of AI systems and cybernetics, aligning perfectly with our neo-cybernetic vision.

Partnership with The ALANA Project
We’ve partnered with the ALANA Project, an innovative educational DAC (Decentralized Autonomous Company) centered around the virtual persona of ALANA. The ALANA community focuses on delivering entertaining yet educational content, with a strong emphasis on Web3 technologies.
We will be working with the founder Stella Achenbach and the core team of ALANA to formulate an organizational infrastructure for the community. The goal is to enhance cohesion within both its technological capabilities and social structures, fostering a more integrated, impactful and exciting learning environment.
This partnership marks a significant step for our young movement as we will be starting to apply cybernetic principles to real-world challenges faced by global communities.
It’s an opportunity to engage directly with tangible issues as cyberneticians, developing and testing theoretical frameworks through practical applications.
Neo-Cybernetics on X
We’ve now launched our official handle on X, @neo_cybernetics! This new platform will serve as a dynamic space for brief updates, discussions, and community engagement, pointing to our Medium publication and other resources from our community.
Looking Ahead
As we move forward, our commitment to exploring the intersections of life, nature, technology, design, philosophy and science through the lenses of cybernetics and complex systems remains determined.
The coming months are filled with potential for more growth, as we lay plans to initiate new collaborative projects.
We will start the process of solidifying our structure, with the aim to find a platform that enables our community members and partners to collaborate more effectively and share ideas seamlessly.
