Neo Polaris Launchpad to Kick off Polaris Plus Community Voting Phase
Singapore June 8 - Neo, a fully decentralized, all-in-one blockchain, continues to foster innovative blockchain projects for the Neo N3 ecosystem through the Neo Polaris Launchpad event, which offers a total of US $500,00 in prizes. The event’s Hackathon phase concluded on May 30 with the introduction of the Hackathon winners. The final phase of Polaris Launchpad, the community-led Polaris Plus, has begun. Polaris Plus is a bonus funding round in which the Neo community gets to decide the winners. Neo has allocated USD $101,300 to match community votes through quadratic means.
Polaris Plus voting will be held via the DoraHacks website from June 8 to 28. In this special, community-led funding round, Neo GAS token holders will use their own funds to vote for projects that they want to see brought to life on the Neo N3 blockchain. Neo will then match these votes through quadratic means. The quadratic voting approach is intended to facilitate a fair distribution of funds to support the projects in which the collective community finds value.
Polaris Plus is an invitation-only phase of the Polaris Launchpad event. A selected set of high-caliber Hackathon submissions, regardless of whether these projects received Hackathon awards, have been invited to compete. The invited teams that have manually joined the Dorahacks platform on June 8 are eligible to compete.
