It’s safe to say that we wouldn’t be where we are now if it weren’t for our business development team. The team consist of strong, diverse, and international professionals that are the face of Neonomics.
So, let’s get right into it…
Roar Alme — Chief Commercial Officer
Experienced in leading positions within business development and finance, Roar is our Chief Commercial Officer. He has worked internationally within several start-ups and global corporations, including Statkraft, Schibsted, and Telenor. Roar has an MBA from BI Norwegian Business School (Norway) and BSc (Hons) from University of Strathclyde (UK) and Spanish & Political Science from University of San Sebastián (Spain). Having lived in 4 different countries, Roar is extremely experienced with international business development. During his free time, he is also a keen skier and enjoys spending quality time with his family and two dogs.
Yolanda You — Senior Business Development Manager —
Focus on Asia and Europe
Yolanda is our Senior Business Development Manager, a Chinese native, with Belgian citizenship. Yolanda has accumulated 10 year’s experience within engineering and business development, and currently focuses on business development between Asia and Europe. She has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Fuzhou University (China) and an MSc in Bioengineering and Environmental Science from University of Gent (Belgium). Yolanda loves foreign cultures and languages, she can speak Chinese, English, Japanese, Dutch, some French and she is currently learning Norwegian. In her spare time, she enjoys the Norwegian outdoors and swimming.
Madeleine Østeby — Business Development Manager —
Focus on Nordic Markets
Madeleine, a Norwegian native, is a Business Development Manager at Neonomics. She has completed her Bachelor of Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School (Norway) and her MSc in Finance from the School of Business and Law, University of Adger (Norway) with an exchange at the VSE University of Economics (Czech Republic). Madeleine has over 6 years of experience within Finance, working at Carnegie Investment Bank Norway. At Neonomics, Madeleine focuses on business development within the Nordic markets. During her free time, Madeleine enjoys a variety of sports including sailing and skiing.
Zbigniew Szulc — Business Development Manager — Focus on Central Europe and Baltic Countries
Zbigniew (aka Ziggy), a Polish native, is a Business Developer at Neonomics. His main focus is business development in central Europe and Baltic countries. Ziggy has a diverse professional background in a variety of roles at global companies such as SAP and Nielsen. Having completed his Bachelor at Gdansk University of Technology (Poland) and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany), Ziggy went onto achieving a Master’s degree at SGH Warsaw School of Economics (Poland). When not working, Ziggy is also passionate about music, enjoys being outdoors, and travelling.
