[Partnership] NEOPIN Invests and Partners with Global Web3 Live Chat Service ‘Tangled’ to Drive Innovation and Adoption

We are excited to announce that we have invested in and formed a partnership with Frienkly, the developer and operator of the global Web3 live chat service ‘Tangled’, to drive innovation and adoption.
Frienkly is a global social discovery startup founded by Park Jin-Seok, co-founder of Neowiz and CEO of Bluehole SQUALL, the developer of the mobile game ‘Tera’. Frienkly is led by founders who have previously worked at SQUALL, a game company that was sold to Krafton, as well as founding members of KakaoPage and former employees of Samsung Electronics and SK Telecom.
Through this partnership, NEOPIN has agreed to onboard Tangled. Tangled is a global Web3 live chat service that allows users to chat live with people from all over the world. Users can earn “Time Points” depending on the length of their chat, which can be exchanged for Tangled’s utility token “TIPO”. In addition to onboarding Tangled, NEOPIN plans to launch DeFi products related to TIPO in the future. As Tangled is more popular overseas than in Korea, NEOPIN will also engage in joint global marketing efforts.
