Experimental exhibition space for digital art “NEORT++”

SIZELESS TWIN exhibition

The NEORT is preparing for the official opening of NEORT++, a real gallery dedicated to Digital Art, located in Bakurocho, Tokyo, this upcoming April.
From this base, NEORT will support artists and their works from two perspectives, digital and physical.
The artworks on display at the gallery will be on sale as NFTs (own contracts), and can be purchased on the NEORT platform, or experienced in a virtual space on STYLY, where the same exhibition can be seen and experienced.

NEORT++ is a new gallery located on the 3F of the art complex building owned by the contemporary art gallery PARCEL. After the official opening, the gallery plans to organize and host a new exhibition every month.

The gallery aims to create a place where artists and viewers can think together about the experience and possibilities of digital art in physical space.
The remarkable progress of technology has overwhelmingly increased the opportunities to encounter new media of digital expression. On the other hand, our experience of viewing digital art still stays the same: to see it in person through a screen such as a PC or a cell phone.

The gallery will consider and investigate with artists and viewers how we can enjoy artworks that make full use of digital technology in a physical space, while paying attention to such limited viewing experiences, and aims to create an environment in which we can put these possibilities into practice together.

We are looking forward to meeting with many potential viewers through “SIZELESS TWIN” and discovering together the potential of new technologies and the art of the future.
