Thank you for using NEORT.

The FUJISANTEN x NEORT competition, which was held for about a month from December 2019, closed yesterday. Many creators have posted great artworks. Thank you to all the participants.

The selection was difficult because there were too many beautiful artworks, but it was just completed successfully. Let us announce the best or nominated artworks before the exhibition.

You can check all the artworks here.

Selection criteria

We selected works that created the image of “New Mt. Fuji” using the characteristics of digital art and the motifs and data of Mt. Fuji. We value the uniqueness and impact of both ideas and expressions.

The Best Artwork

Ukiyo (Ayumu Nagamatsu)

Looking at the upside-down Fuji reflected on the surface of the water and the erupting objects near the summit, We felt strongly that the theme was “Mt. Fuji”. Although This is 3D, he designed this to look like 2D with a color scheme like the printing technique of Ukiyo-e and screen tone expression. We selected this as the best artwork for both ideas and expression.

The 8K projector will display this work at the selection exhibition venue.

Nominated artworks

Let us also introduce artworks that were nominated for the best artwork.

I hope you have nice dreams. (chaosgroove)

In addition to the beautiful visuals that are dreamy and impactful, this artwork loop beautifully without boundaries between the beginning and end. You can display and enjoy this artwork like a painting. It is also characteristic that upside-down Fuji changes in the same way.

富嶽 (uesən)

This artwork incorporates Katsushika Hokusai’s elements such as “Kanagawa offshore” and “Koshu Ishizawa” into one. There is no other artwork that has a bluish hue and the dynamic movement of Mt. Fuji. Both ideas and expressions are unique.

About Mount Fuji (Yuki Ishida)

It is unique to visualize using actual mountain trails and facility data in a miniature garden view. Gimmicks, such as the postcards of Katsushika Hokusai’s “Kanagawa Okamiura” on the desk, and excellent camera work add to the fun of this.

Congratulations to the best creator & nominated creators. This campaign was our first attempt, but we were able to meet more amazing artworks and creators than expected. Thanks again to all the creators who have participated and excited about the event.

We will hold exhibition campaigns in the future, so please join us next time.
