Anjela Manandhar is a postdoc fellow at Temple University Philadelphia, PA, USA. She completed her doctorate in Biochemistry from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, NY. Originally from Kathmandu, she flew to the US in 2009 for her undergrad studies.
Anjela uses computational tools to investigate the structural and dynamical properties of the biomolecules. One of her current
projects involves designing inhibitor of SARS-CoV-2 main cysteine protease.
Through her journey in tech and research, she has realized that exposure and mentorship are indeed very crucial to spark an interest in any new field. She believes that a constant source of motivation plays an equally important part.

A big time potter-head, Anjela is trying to get back into reading anything outside academic papers. She loves trying enrichment ideas for her dog, which she hopes she’ll succeed in one day!
