How to Host Unity Games on the Web
Now that we know how to create a build, let’s look into how we can create a Web GL link to our game, so that we can host it online for others to try. First, we go back into our build settings, and then this time we choose Web GL:
As we can see, an error pops up stating we have to resolve the compatibility between colour space and the current settings. This means we will have to go into the settings and change our colour space from linear to gamma:
No we can close the settings and create our web GL code. Just like we did previously with the build creation, we will want to save it into it’s own folder within our games file:
Once it has finished compiling, it will open up the file location and you can use that on your hosting site as you wish.
