My Flutter and Web Predictions 5 Years After. What Next?
Back in 2019, I made a prediction that Flutter would bring revolution to the Web. And damn, I was so right about it!
Five years ago, in 2019, I wrote an article titled “Why Flutter will bring a new revolution to the WEB.” In it, I said that Flutter is the first spark in the revolution that will happen in Web development. In short, I stated the following:
- Flutter will be just the beginning, with others coming to the fields.
- More languages will be targeting WEB via WASM.
- Browsers will put much more effort into non-JavaScript/HTML features.
- You can expect more work on SEO optimization that is not tightened to HTML tags.
