HERO SERIES: Introduction
In Nigeria we don’t celebrate our heroes enough and eventually these unsung heroes are forgotten. But their service is intrinsically linked to our history and has contributed positively to what our nation Nigeria is today.
Recently, one of my greatest heroes: David Ejoor died on the 10th of February 2019, just before the presidential elections. In the fray of the elections, his passing largely went unnoticed.
This has inspired the HERO Series: a brief memoir of recognition and vote of thanks to those in who were given so little, yet gave back so much. Enjoy !
