Thank you for making our competition a huge success

The energy and interest in this competition has been extraordinary. We had thousands of miners competing for 9,000,000 CKB mainnet token rewards, which will be sent to the corresponding mainnet addresses as soon as our mainnet is live.

A goal of the Round 4 competition was to test Eaglesong, our new hash function for Nervos CKB proof-of-work, already deployed on testnet. We also want our community to stress test our network as we prepare for our mainnet launch in Q4.

Time to announce the winners!

Please check our website: https://mineyourownbusiness.nervos.org for the full list.

Remember:

  • Keep your private key safe (keep the file named privkey). Your private key is the only way to get your tokens after mainnet is launched.
  • Mainnet addresses will be different from testnet addresses. You can use command lines to look for your mainnet address using your privkey.
  • In CKB consensus design, there are four parts to block rewards: base reward, secondary reward, commit reward and proposal reward. Because the secondary reward is related to state occupation, and the commit and proposal rewards are related to transaction, those rewards could potentially be manipulated. Thus the secondary, commit and proposal rewards will not contribute to the competition results—only base rewards will contribute.
  • In our consensus design, transaction confirmation will be delayed. As we only count the block reward, we do not need to consider the transaction delay. For more detail please refer to our consensus RFC.
