Nervos CKB now open source!

Hello! It has been more than 300 days and nights (with many iterations and sprints) since the first line of code written in January, we are proud to announce that Nervos CKB now open source! Check it on our Github!

Here comes the highlights of November:

Development

  • Nervos CKB 0.1.0 (Github) — Modules such as consensus, cell model, CKB-VM and P2P network protocol have all been implemented.
  • The CKB-VM is a RISC-V based virtual machine for executing smart contracts on Nervos CKB, here is the introduction of CKB-VM by Nervos developer Xiao Xuejie.
  • CKB is still in the rapid developing process, the API, programming model, and some other designs might be changed in the future, and we would love to hear your feedbacks — reach out to us on Github, CKB Dev telegram or the Nervos Talk forum.
  • As Nervos CKB is a Layer 1 designed for Layer 2 solutions, we are excited to announce the partnership with Celer Network — we will work together on the integration of Celer’s generalized state channel functionality with CKB.
