Nervos Town Hall: What it takes to join the Grants Program
We’re excited to announce the topic for our third Town Hall on December 18th — the Ecosystem Grants Program!
After hearing so much positive feedback after our last event on CKLabs and receiving regular inquiries about our Grants Program, we decided to hold a grants-themed Town Hall to not only answer the community’s questions but showcase the important work our grants recipients are doing for the Nervos ecosystem.
What is the Ecosystem Grants Fund?
The goal of the Grants Program is to attract talent to research and build the necessary tooling for developing on Nervos and to incentivize developers and projects who are willing and passionate about working on these solutions.
To provide participating individuals, teams, and projects with the resources necessary to develop and deploy new solutions on the network, Nervos has committed $30 million in grants to be awarded across multiple project categories ranging from infrastructure development to decentralized applications. So far, we’ve awarded $1 million to several teams.
What to expect during the Town Hall
During the Town Hall, we’ll provide an overview of the Grants Program and the 3-round approval process. You’ll also get the chance to hear from grants recipients Obsidian Systems, the team working on hardware wallet support; Obsidian Labs, the team behind CKB Studio; and LeapDAO, the team building a CKB sidechain framework.
Q&A Session
After the presentation, the Nervos team and the grants recipients will be on hand to answer your questions about the program. Submit your questions on Twitter, Telegram, and Discord more for the chance to have them answered live during the Q&A.
