DeFi.WTF, a Non-Branded, Co-Created Event
Kick off Devcon Week at DeFi.WTF on Oct 7. WTF aims to create a space that fosters open, inclusive, informed, and thoughtful exchange of ideas — that are both chain and project-neutral.
This event is being brought to life by a 21-day pop-up collective of dedicated volunteers across multiple projects, including Toya Bu from Nervos.
Inspired by the Ancient Athenian spirit of democracy and participation in public affairs, DeFi.WTF is the first of what we hope to be a series of events that drive meaningful discussions through asking the right questions. We believe meaningful discussion is the key to foster a deep and intimate relationship between individual and the community, and it is this connection that inspires creativity, action and change.
Concept
Pnyx is a hill in central Athens. Beginning as early as 507 BC, the Athenians gathered on the Pnyx to host their popular assemblies, thus making the hill one of the earliest and most important sites in the creation of democracy .
Our mission is to create a modern reincarnation of Pnyx — a supportive space for open, inclusive, informed, and thoughtful sharing of ideas.
