NestAway is India’s fastest growing “managed home rental”​ company attempting to provide better rental solutions via design and technology. We turn unbranded, unfurnished houses into fully furnished & maintained apartments and provide them at affordable prices to quality tenants. We’ve created a young ecosystem attempting to provide:

• Higher rental incomes to home owners
• Beautiful houses at ordinary PG rentals to tenants
• A hassle-free onboarding, servicing and exit experience to both home owners & tenants

Home is a very emotional asset to both owners and tenants, not just a pricey one. Rent is the largest monthly expense for most of us. There are a lot of strict legal compliances in the real estate space that one has to follow. House hunting is a herculean task, often an unpleasant experience when you just enter a city and looking for an accommodation. People sometimes face discrimination on various criteria when it comes to living in a particular house or society.

So, naturally, the problems in this space are quite challenging and that’s what we love. We love to solve the hard stuff. We need designers who can help us in this process.

Senior Product Designer

1. You will be responsible for building new products and features that directly impact the way India lives!
2. You have 3+ years of experience in shipping digital products. You should have designed and shipped multiple apps, or have gone through multiple release cycles on a larger project
3. You can work across the full spectrum of design including UI, Interaction, Prototyping, Visual Design and have some experience in User testing / User research.
4. Bonus points for additional skills — motion design, illustrations etc.
5. You align user needs with business objectives and come up with scalable designs
6. You are obsessed with shipping high quality pixel perfect stuff. You should be able to sit with developers to make sure the product is shipped the way you designed.
7. You are comfortable working within a design system and contributing to it.
8. Your design decisions are based on insights, not opinions.
9. Communication skills — What matters is how easily and strongly you can convey your thoughts with various stakeholders in explaining your design decisions
10. You work together with Product Managers, not for them. You don’t just translate product requirements into designs, but also help in defining them.
11. You are a fairly advanced user of Sketch and comfortable with other design tools (Principle, Zeplin, Framer, Marvel etc.)
12. Only qualification is relevant work experience and a strong portfolio. A degree in design or a related field is a bonus.
