Co-venture with Chinese consultancy CirclePlus.io offers tool to high-growth market

AMSTERDAM — 19 January 2018 — Nestr.io, the productivity tool for purpose driven companies, today announced a partnership with Chinese leadership consultancy CirclePlus.io. The co-venture will introduce Nestr’s technology for self-organization and personal productivity to the Chinese audience. Nestr, which has been in a closed beta for the last 6 months, is now officially open to individuals and companies seeking to bring alignment and purpose to their everyday work activities and organizations.

Founded in 2016, Nestr was developed to help individuals and corporations ensure work has value not only for the organization, but also for employees. Functioning much like issue management tools Asana, Trello and JIRA, while allowing you to align your work with organizational purpose and personal values, Nestr is perfect for Getting Things Done (GTD) — based personal management, while being easily expanded to teams. Nestr closes the gap between the organization system and an employee’s individual system, giving them the flexibility to organize both in a way that works for them.

Nestr has joined forces with CirclePlus.io, a Shanghai-based organization development and leadership consultancy, to bring this new form of working to the Chinese market. Over the next few months, CirclePlus.io will focus on B2B, piloting the new tech and consulting program to businesses with as many as 10,000 employees. Shortly thereafter, the technology powered by Nestr will be released to the broader public.

Co-founder Joost Schouten: “This obviously isn’t your average normal step for an early stage Dutch startup and we’re excited for the opportunity to work in such a high growth market. The partnership combines their consultancy with our technology and will be branded CirclePlus.io in China. The incredible growth of Chinese companies and the need to attract young talent is driving the search for new ways to organize. CirclePlus.io supports these organizations on their path towards self-organization both through consulting as well as tooling. The whole idea around self-organization and transparency is a relatively new concept in China and very much alive.”

Outside of China, Nestr is moving to open beta and the team will be investing time in onboarding and growth from both the B2B and B2C side.
