We recommend you to learn how to create a community channel first. Then, follow these steps to deposit tokens and set the reward system for your new Channel.
Step-by-Steps to Setting Rewards for your Channel
- Open up your Channel.
- Click the top right corner of your Channel to open up your sidebar.
- Click the Invitation Reward, that is third on the list.
- Press Manage Channel Wallet to deposit your Ethereum and EGG tokens. (You can either deposit ETH or EGG tokens in any order).
About the EGG Token
Our EGG token is ERC20 based assets under Ethereum (ETH). All ERC20 transactions require ETH, also known as gas, to execute the transaction on the Ethereum network. Therefore, Nestree users are required to pay above the minimum amount of transaction fee when depositing ETH to the Channel’s Wallet. The minimum amount of transaction fee changes depending on the price of ETH.
We also recommend you to carefully decide how much and deposit enough EGG tokens for your Channel. EGG tokens will be used largely as rewards to gift to your members who participate in quizzes, events, refer to others, and much more.
Once you have deposited all tokens to your Channel, it is up to you and other admins to set how you reward your members. Here are the steps to set “Referral Rewards” so that inviters and invitees of the Channel can earn a certain amount of rewards.
Set the Referral Reward Amount for your Members
- Go to your Invitation Reward page.
- Click the Set Referral Rewards section.
- Decide how much rewards the inviter and the invitee should receive through referral.
Inviter Reward is given to the members who invite friends to the channel.
Invitee Reward is given when the newcomers join the channel through the member’s invitation referral link.
We recommend you to check the article to learn how members can find and share their Channel’s invitation link. Share with your friends and earn rewards at the same time.
Also, note that the rewards feature is only available to Android users at the moment. We will update you once this feature is available to iOS users.
