Nestree Media Group Signs Official Builder Partnership with The Sandbox

An Agreement to be South Korea’s 5th Official Builder Studio Building a Music Metaverse in The Sandbox

Nestree Media Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nestree) announced that it has formed an official partnership with The Sandbox.

The Sandbox is a global metaverse platform based on blockchain and NFT (non-fungible token) technology. Users can trade NFTs of virtual land, items, and more and can even sell items they made in the game. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the value of metaverse platforms soared, and The Sandbox drew a lot of attention. The Sandbox has made partnerships with global brands such as Gucci and the Smurfs and famous artists like Snoop Dogg. The Sandbox puts companies through a very difficult screening process before accepting them as an official partner. So far, only five Korean companies, including Nestree, have signed on to The Sandbox’s official builder studio.

Nestree is participating in the development of the official version of the “K-Village” which is being built on land in The Sandbox and is scheduled to be released by the end of this year. The K-Village is designed to be a place where both Korean and international users can enjoy popular K-POP content in the metaverse. It will help promote K-POP internationally and provide a space for fans to enjoy various K-POP-related events and activities.

Nestree stated it is currently working on developing the things necessary to build a music metaverse. A spokesperson said, “We are pleased to establish this partnership with global metaverse platform The Sandbox. Through the K-Village, we will do our best to make Korea’s content widely known to both domestic and overseas users.”

Nestree operates a portal service specializing in NFTs. Nestree also runs a calendar service and news site where visitors can check the release schedule of new NFT projects, whitelist rewards, and NFT sales information. Nestree is able to provide highly professional content by collecting fragmented information from around the web and sharing it in one place, from basic concepts for beginners to in-depth analyses for NFT veterans. In addition, Nestree conducts a wide range of other businesses, such as running a reward-based shopping mall for community users and investors in Nestree’s utility token (EGG).
