5th and 6th Route Between Thane and Diva will be Complete till June 2019
The project for laying fifth and sixth rail line between Thane and Diwa, which was sanctioned in 2008, is a part of Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP 2B). As point of view passengers, fifth and sixth line between Thane and Diwa is very important for travelling and it will we complete till June 2019, said MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde.

There are so many problem in construction side, To overcome the problem, MP Shrikant Shinde continuously taking follow up from the MSRV. Two day before, drilling machine incident happened at Ratibandar flyover work. On Sunday morning, MP. Dr. Shrikant Shinde along with senior officers of the MRVC, visited the work area and inspect the area.
Senior officials of the MRVC said on Sunday that all the works including flyover in Ratibandar, Mumbra will be completed by June 2019. After completion of this work, more than 50 additional local fairs will be held in this rout. Dr. Shinde said. Deputy Mayor of Thane Municipal Corporation Ramakant Madhvi, former corporator Balaji Kakade, Sudhir Bhagat, Deputy Chief Engineer of MRVC, Shri. Kulkarni were present.
At that time. MP shinde gives instruction to MRVC Chief Project Officer Shri. Mhaske. MP said, “take all the precautions for safety. If necessary, construct a creek protective wall, so that the same incident won’t happens in future.”
