BJP leader breaks Dahi Handi Rules in Thane

Several rules have been violated during the Dahi Handi festival. The Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis has been caught violating the court’s strict rules over the Dahi Handi celebrations on roads. The entire Kashinath Ghanekar theatre road was blocked for the Dahihandi festival organised by Mr Shivaji Patil.
The function organized by Mathadi leader Shivaji Patil was blocked the whole traffic to built the Dahihandi. Sanskriti Pratishthan’s Dahi Handi at Hiranandani Meadows, which was visited by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BJP leader breaking rules in the presence of chief minister Devendra Fadanvis. BJP leader not only blocked the traffic, also blocked the school as well as a hospital.
The Dahi Handi celebrations in Thane were just as noisy as the previous year. As per the noise-level readings taken by Thane activist Dr Mahesh Bedekar, the decibel levels at six Dahi Handi locations in the city were in the range of 80 to 90 decibels. Disco jockeys, loudspeakers, live performances contributed to the noise pollution in the city. Sanskruti Pratishthan’s Dahi Handi at Hiranandani Meadows, the decibel level was between 80 to 88. All the readings were recorded between 2.30 pm to 4.20 pm.
The stage was established near the hospitals. vehicles were parked at the entry gate of the complex, DJ was standing near the hospital. The noise was being expressed in the presence of a chief minister.
According to sources, the hospital will have two surgical procedures on Monday morning. However, due to the Dahi Handi, on Sunday night, the police gave instructions to the cancel the treatment. After this notification, the hospital had to cancel the surgery as well as five to six sonography examinations. When contacted, hospital management refused to talk about this.
Traffic collapsed in the main roads of the Kalyan-Dombivli city. Kalyan chowk, Kalyan East, the market department, Shivaji Chowk, Lalchauki, Santoshimata road, Kalsewadi, Netiwali, Dombivli, Deendayal road, Phadke road and Mahatma Phule were facing the traffic because of the Dahi Handi festival.
