Eknath Shinde calls in 5 Lakh Shivsainiks : Dussehra Melava 2018
One of the important political event of Maharashtra, where once people gathered to listen to Late. Balasaheb Thackrey. In his absence, party head Uddhav Thackrey continued the grand event of Dussehra Melava which was arranged at the Shivaji Park, Dadar, and responsibility of 5 lakh shivsainiks was shouldered on Senior leader Eknath Shinde.
Shivsena’s Dussehra Melava 2018 was seen as one of the important events of the year, looking forward to the 2019 Loksabha and Assembly polls.
Accordingly, Shivsena Head Uddhav Thackrey had given the complete responsibility of the event to Shivsena leader Eknath Shinde, who is one of the well-performing leaders in Shivsena.
Uddhav Thackrey imposed this responsibility on Eknath Shinde which indicates the belief of Party head on Shivsena leader Eknath Shinde.
It was been seen rolling on the social media that Eknath Shinde has been given the responsibility of gathering 5 Lakh Shivsainiks on Shivaji Park if it is true then senior leader, Eknath Shinde has fulfilled the demand as the ground was filled out of its capacity.
Everyone had a question if Shivsena comes into power in 2019, then who will be the CM candidate? Shouldering such a huge responsibility to Eknath Shinde, Uddhav Thackrey’s confidence on him surely is an indicator that Eknath Shinde is likely to be next CM candidate for Shivsena.
Uddhav Thackrey slashed hard on BJP on its failure in controlling fuel prices, dropping value of Indian currency, Rafale deal, and many more issues.
He asked the Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to declare drought in Maharashtra immediately, in his speech Uddhav Thackrey targeted the Central government on various issues.
He even pointed at the #MeToo movement, he stated that instead of ‘MeToo’ slap the individual at that point of time itself.
Other leaders like Ramdas Kadam and Subhash Desai too expressed their views during the event. Ramdas Kadam said that he trusted Modi and worked hard for his glorification in 2014 elections, but now he realized that he has been cheated by Modi. Subhash Desai, Senior Shivsena leader slashed hard on Ambani over the deal.
However, Uddhav Thackrey seemed less aggressive than usual, instead of slashing hard on the government on its inefficient policies, Uddhav Thackrey seemed to be quite anxious on the topic of Hindutva. He announced his visit to Ayodhya and questioned Why PM Modi hasn’t even once visited Ayodhya?
Will Shivsena continue its alliance with BJP in the upcoming 2019 elections? Will Uddhav Thackrey find for options to form an alliance to defeat BJP? Is Uddhav Thackrey purposely getting involved in the Ayodhya Ram Mandir issue? Lots of questions regarding Shivsena’s stand with BJP in the upcoming elections is yet to be answered.
