I’m not the only one who has been seeing Christmas decorations since the beginning of November, right? Christmas is here, and has been for the last month and a half.
Since early— very early—November, we’ve been seeing seeing an uptick of Christmas-related photos on social media that confirm that the holiday season is in full force. A little early, perhaps? Not necessarily. For retailers, the holiday season can represent up to 30% of annual sales. To get a head start, many retailers introduce Christmas-themed merchandise long before the official start of the holiday season.
It’s not just retailers though. I used image recognition to search social media for posts related to Christmas, and it seems like consumers are embracing the holiday spirit just as early.
