Cities lived — Como, Milano, Genoa, Berlin
Time in Berlin — 4 years. In these years the greyish city has gained more colours through it’s constant renovations. Empty spaces have disappeared. Change can be sad but I prefer to be part of a city that’s alive and progressing.
Profession — Geologist & photographer. My old work position in management turned my life routine into one of a 60 years old man. After 7 years of exhaustion I finally realised sometimes it’s better to forget the easy money and follow your passion. So I moved to Berlin for a restart.
Passion — Traveling, music, photography.
Best in Berlin — Berlin is a good base. An European centre yet very relaxed, almost like a village compared to other capitals. Compared to Italy, you encounter much more different cultures and backgrounds. Many have arrived from somewhere else and share a situation — it’s like a big helpful family of strangers. This connection between diverse people creates an amazing energy.
Bad in Berlin — The schizophrenic weather.
Berlin moment — Biking to home in dusk after 24 hours of friends and parties — enjoying the clear skyline of the city and suddenly gaining back that free feel of the teenage years. Here you are free.
Tip — Maybachüfer with a wine bottle and friends.
