What the Canadian federal party platforms say about Neurodivergence & Disabilities
T.G.I.F.
I don’t know about all of you, but it seems to have been a bit of a rough week all around. Okay, things have been rough, generally speaking, for quite some time (especially since January).
With the Canadian federal election looming (it’s this Monday, folks!), the political rhetoric and B.S. has reached new levels of exhausting and infuriating.
I run my business pages for Neurodiversity Manitoba on social media and generally post about Neurodiversity (particularly Autism, ADHD), education, and parenting. However, over the past year or so I’ve posted more frequently about politics and important social issues.
Sometimes I get pushback. It usually comes from people who merely disagree with me and use that as an excuse to complain that I run a Neurodiversity page and should limit my content to neurodivergence, parenting, and education.
Anyone is welcome to disagree with what I write or post, I always enjoy intellectual debate. I welcome anyone who engages in good faith wanting to share knowledge and information, learn from each other, and challenge each other’s ideas and opinions. What I will not tolerate are disingenuous…
