The SHHS needs to shhhhhh

In that fateful (now infamous) press conference last month, RFK Jr. claimed the following:

“There are many, many other studies that affirm [an autism epidemic], and instead of listening to this canard of epidemic denial, all you have to do is start reading a little science, because the answer is very clear, and this is catastrophic for our country.”

Alright sir, let’s see what the research says about the increase in the rates of autism over the past decade.

A recent review of global autism prevalence by Charman (2025) concluded:
