People and I

When I write these articles, sometimes I wonder which I use ‘People’ and ‘I’ as a subject.

The time when I want to use people, I want to say general matters, such that the phrase, ”generally speaking”, mean, but I noticed what I think something general matters might not be ones to others.

For example, I thought that self-acceptance is hard, but others think self-acceptance is a basic belonging of life (aside from what “self-acceptance” mean). So I can’t say “People think self-acceptance is hard, but…”

So recently I try to use I,instead of people, but sometimes I still feel uneasy to use ‘I’, instead of people at some circumstances.
