People who don’t need smartphone

During Golden Week in Japan, I had a chance to talk with my father in law. Waiting for the ladies group, he began to stair his mobile phone and I lightly said, “How about using smartphone?” he answered “Thank you, but I don’t need it.”

For me, smartphone is not just a device but the window of whole internet world, where any information can search for. One of my strength is Input , so to say, information Junky, I always search for something, and play in the dark playground by Tim Urban. These kinds of action is natural for me, and don’t need to try hard. So I even scare my smartphone because it’s too indulging for me so much.

He loves to play baseball and to relax with his sweet cat. And also he read newspapers everyday, and maybe he doesn’t have Input strength. So he gets his needs enough without smartphone. It’s not generation matter, I though.

I imagined which is heather, the 70 year old guy who always check smartphone at cafe and the guy who enjoy playing baseball with his friends. Then, the idea to start to play baseball came to my mind, a little bit.
