Last night, I had a message on my X account. It was a job offer.

This wasn’t the first time I had received job offers from people I’ve never met or applied to.

So I was very skeptical.

The person wanted me to check out their site and download a program.

At first, I googled the company to see if it was a scam.

And it wasn’t.

Then I searched for reviews from other people who have used it.

Other than the typical site being too slow, there weren’t any major issues.

So I started to download the program, but I used an old computer that I no longer use. I made sure to delete all browsing data from previously used sites in case malware got on and tried to scan for my personal information.

The person wanted me to get on Discord, where he had the majority of his operations for communications.

I saw there were thousands of members, so it brought some assurance.
