Apparently, I’m Not Too Smart

I tried, but my brain still hurts from the effort

No, I did not turn into a giraffe. Sometimes, I just like to use random photos to represent how I feel in the moment. Right now, my brain is still recovering from trying to help my nephew with his homework.

In case you are wondering, no, I would never help him cheat. I do have morals!

Anyway, he needed help with an extra credit assignment in his math class. Luckily, it had nothing to do with math because the only thing I know is that 2 + 2 = 5. Other than that, I’m clueless when it comes to math.

The paper was about logic, and I guess I have no logic.

It was more like a logic grid puzzle where you had to match all the random clues together. I did my best, and I think I helped him find one clue until I reached my mental capacity.

I would try to give an example, but my brain is literally fried, so you’ll have to use your own imagination. Luckily, I’ve never had to use that type of logic in real life, so I have no idea why kids need to learn such random things.

I still remember the joy of taking algebra and geometry classes back in high school — all of that time I spent learning something that I would never use at all.

I know it benefits some students, but I would say it’s a waste of time for most people. Taking basic classes to cover finances, investing, and tips on how to manage money would be much more helpful.

At least, that’s my opinion. But I apparently struggle with logic, so I might be wrong.

What is a skill or subject that you learned in school that you never used in real life?
