The Insidious Nature of Ageism

Did you ever encounter ageism in work or other areas? How did you fight back and deal with it?

You’ve probably faced ageism if you’re over 40 years old. It’s disturbing to read stories where older age is depicted negatively, and stereotypes are used. This is a form of discrimination, like racism and other ‘-isms’. You might have been asked your age before an interview, which is illegal. Refusing to disclose your age is your right.
