Many movies have had follow-ups and some are disappointing. “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” did not disappoint after its opening weekend. It is a must-see movie.

After the initial debut 30 years ago starring Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara, they return for the follow-up. Also appearing in the film were Jenna Ortega, Ryder’s daughter; Justin Theroux, William Defoe, Monica Bellucci, Danny DeVito, and Arthur Conti also appeared in the movie.

The box office showed strong results as “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” pulled in $110 million according to USA Today.

Keaton’s return showed he still can make Beetlejuice a fan favorite.

And Ryder used her experience from the first movie to make ghosts a popular trend. Her daughter, Ortega, didn’t believe in ghosts and had a rocky relationship with her mom. The combination of the two makes the film realistic and funny.

Director Tim Burton was part of the original “Beetlejuice” and returned for the second movie.

This movie is a must-see film and the enjoyment in the theater does not disappoint. Also, it is family-friendly as well.
